This weekend I am off to one of our best friends’ wedding in Seattle, and to add to the fun, we’ve got family to visit there, and a new city to explore. I’ve never been to Seattle, so lovely readers, any recommendations??
Since Spencer is a groomsmen, I’ll have some time to explore and would love to see all that this new city has to offer.

This is the perfect time of year to go to Seattle! My parents lived there while I was in college and it was a great summer escape from the midwest heat and humidity. If you have the time, a trip across the bay to Bainbridge or Bremerton is a must, and a sunset dinner at Rays Boathouse… preferably on the patio! There are so many great little places that one weekend isn’t enough! You could stop and shop around in Ballard on your way to Rays, or see the salmon ladders at the locks. All this is making me want to get back there, ASAP!
I’ve never been to Seattle either. Have a great time! Can’t wait to see everything you get to do.
