Yesterday I had a reality check… I’ve lived in place for almost two years and still have a massive to-do list. So, I made the decision to get my house “finished”.
I know, I know. I am realistic, it will never really be done… but at least check some big things off my list.
In the process, I need to keep reminding myself that this is what we started with.
Our family room during construction |
When this is all done, hopefully I’ll have lots of gorgeousness to share!
One of my projects to check off is to get this bench reupholstered. How amazing is the shape?? The fabric? Nightmares…

It looks so mini in this picture… like a stool rather than a bench. Sort of scary! Going to look at it right now to reconfirm that this in fact an adult sized piece of furniture I purchased. |
Sorry for the seriously lame post today. I’m not feeling great, definitely going back to bed and ignoring the fact that winter is still here.
Goodnight. xoxo
I have no doubt it will be perfection. Can’t wait to see what fabric you choose!
Sorry I’ve been mia, playing catch up!
What I would give to have huge windows like that in my house. I adore your family room.

WOW, Alex, I had no idea you had such lovely windows…and that bench? It’s going to be awesome.

You have a beautiful canvas to work with, your room looks gorgeous and big and light and airy. That window alone is worth getting motivated for!! Can’t wait to see more….I am like you a bit, in that I vowed to do it all, then nothing got done, so this house..watch out, I am going to be unstoppable!

Gosh…I am right behind you! We need to get going on this house before it’s been several years and we want to sell it!
You can do it!! My husband and I are JUST starting our own project… our first house and we are tackling the paint tomorrow!! Yikes! So not too excited about manual labor haha. Oh well. The windows are beyond gorgeous. You can make the most beautiful space with that!
Hope you have a wonderful day! Best of luck
