Wedding Wednesday: The Shoe Tale

Today’s Wedding Wednesday is a tale of shoes. Lots of shoes. Most of my wedding decisions have been really easy. I was super decisive through all of the planning process and almost always knew exactly what I wanted. But for some reason, when it came to shoes I was lost.
I knew I wanted something with a bit of sparkle for my ceremony shoes and I knew I want flat sandals to change into for the reception. That was where my direction ended.
This was my original plan
Pumps & Flip flops
 But then I realized
1. I would look back at pink ombre sequin shoes and wonder what I was thinking
2. Flip flops in a big wedding dress was a recipe for disaster
So I started over. Returned these guys and began to get a little worried.
I ended up with two pairs of shoes I adore. They are comfortable and fun and I will wear them both again, a lot. I’m not going to share my final decision, but here are some great options I considered.

Heels:
Glitter Bows, Peep Toes

Flats:
Pearl Sandals, Gold Thong

PS My Joss & Main sale is live, shop it here! And here is a little peek thanks to Ms. C xo

  1. First of all, I’m obsessed with your picks on Joss & Main! Seriously. Lastly, I had some serious shoe issues for our wedding. I ended up buying like 3 pairs and deciding like a week before! I chose the Jimmy Choos glittery ones with the strap and they are SO comfy!

  2. Congrats on the Joss and Main sale! Everything was beyond amazing! I wore the Kate Spade glitter shoes for my wedding in gold! I have been able to wear them a couple of times in my friends weddings too! They are adorable.

  3. I like the KS and TB shoes best. But, you might end up wearing the JC ones more. Tough decision, but they are all cute! Congrats on the Joss and Main sale!

  4. Story of my LIFE right now. I need to have shoes by my measurement pre-fit in a couple weeks and right now, I got nothing. Slightly panicked, so instead, I’m doing the responsible thing and trying not to think about it at all.

PS — HUGE congrats on the J&M sale!!! So exciting!

  5. I am sure you know this already – but make sure you bring BOTH shoes flat and heel to your dress fittings, or else you will be tripping over your dress on the dance floor in your flats :)

  6. I wish I had put more effort into my shoes. They were pretty enough w/the dress but are so bride-y that I have never worn them since! I think I missed a great opportunity for awesome shoes!

  7. I love those kate spade pumps! They’d be perfect to wear to so many occasions, or even with just some skinnies and a blazer. I can’t wait to see how your wedding turns out – I’m sure it’ll be absolutely stunning!
