Wedding Wednesday

I am SO sorry that I haven’t posted at all. My router completely fried and we have been without internet since Friday.
So today I am posting from a friend’s, but I wanted to at least be back for Wedding Wednesday, my favorite day of the week!  Today, I am sharing with you how I asked my bridesmaids. I asked for some assistance on here, but I ultimately decided to do something very low key.
I ordered these beautiful cards from Rifle Paper Co
And wrote each of the girls, who are all my family (or future family), a letter asking them to be part of my bridal party.
Very simple. But… I’ve got lots in store for these ladies.
What is the cutest way you’ve heard of asking bridesmaids?

  1. I saw those cards online and love them!! My friend just wrote me the sweetest letter asking me to be her matron of honor (ugh matron sounds so old, but whatever!). I love a handwritten note, it is so special and meaningful! Good luck with your internet, ours was out Friday and I about died. What did we do before internet??

  2. Love these notes!
I ordered some really yummy cookies from Flour Pot (shaped like a bride and bridesmaid) and sent one to each girl with a “will you be my bridesmaid?” note. They really loved it and told me that the cookies were delish :)

  3. I’m obsessed with Rifle- I’m having them hopefully working on a little something for me in the future.
I think these cards, combined with what I’m sure were amazingly sweet letters, is an absolutely perfect way to ask your friends to be bridesmaids- not themey or overplayed- just perfectly lovely!

  4. Love your notecards! I honestly can’t remember how I asked my bridesmaids…but one of my friends asked me by putting it into a chinese fortune cookie!:) Can’t wait to see your projects…that store sounds fab!
