I promise, sometime I will stop obsessing over my favorite season. But this weekend is looking like a very promising little fall one. We have friends in from San Fransisco and have plans to show them a real Midwestern fall. Apple picking and wine tasting is definitely on the books. And I am planning on making this delicious dish, thank you Lara!

I love Fall in other parts of the country — here, it just means hotter days and fire hazards typically (we get the winds blown in from the desert this time of year). I would much rather go apple picking and leaf watching and cider making and fireplace lounging! Have fun!
