In a little less than four weeks Spencer and I will be on an adventure through Asia. We just booked it a couple of weeks ago, so I am in the thick of planning and researching right now and would love your recommendations!

Last night I was looking back through my recent posts and it really seemed like you guys like when I do AKD updates / home updates the best… and I don’t blame you. That is what I like to see from bloggers too.
Its fun for me to share AKD updates here so that you guys can stay up to date with projects, but also because I don’t like to share completed spaces until I have decent pictures, so these progress posts help a little.

A shared this on instagram last night, but I’m so excited I wanted to share it here too. The gallery wall in Spencer’s office finally came to life and I couldn’t be more pleased. Every piece has meaning: a photograph by a friend, a picture of my grandparents from the 40′s, a drawing my sister did. And on, and on.
