Hope everyone had a fantastic long weekend. I’m finally back from Colorado. It was so much fun and really made me miss the mountains. I got to catch up with college friends, fly fish (yes, me) and explore a part of the country I love.

I kept asking myself why we left this state… until I had altitude sickness and got winded walking up a flight of stairs.
Spencer loves fly fishing so about once a year I end up in waders in the middle of the river with him. And every year it seems to surprise me that I actually have fun.
The ceremony looks gorgeous! I’ve never been to Colorado, but it’s definitely on my bucket list of places to visit. And major kudos to you on your fly fishing adventure, I think I would be way to chicken to even attempt it!!!

What a beautiful wedding! We were in Colorado for the long weekend, too, and absolutely loved getting a break from the Texas heat. But I totally agree with your altitude sickness, sentiment–it felt good to be back in a climate where I can run without getting winded. Thanks for sharing!
