BEFORE:
This is embarrassing, but honest. So here it so goes. This was our guest bedroom for over a year. I realized just as we started to tape the walls to paint that we needed some before shots. So here they are. Ew. Builder’s beige. No duvet. Nothing on the walls. No words.
AFTER:
Well its definitely not done, but this is my guest bedroom so far. You saw where we started, so as you can imagine, I am really happy with the transformation.

(Lumbar pillow from Chelsea’s Pasage. Pink pillows from my favorite online store, Furbish.)
(the light fixture casts this amazing textured light on the walls and ceiling)

(The texture I was referring to. I also dreamed of this light fixture for years and finally had a spot for it. Its amazing as I imagined.)
I still need something for above the bed and a new nightstand, but we are getting there! Yay for making progress. Its very slow going around our place, but when it happens, it makes me very happy!
Looking good over here, Alex. Love the changes.
Amazing transformation! What are you thinking for the window(s)? Where’s the headboard from?
I dont mind the nightstand.
I thought the walls were painted with a texture! That light fixture is CRAZY!
Nice! Love the comet light fixture… I’ve always wanted to see it in person.
Ashley, for the windows I want to do a white linen roman with black grosgrain trim. And the bed is from West Elm
Alex it looks so good!!! I love the dark grey walls and the beautiful headboard- the pillows are perfect together and that light is so pretty. I love a good before and after- fabulous my dear!! xo

Oh my god it looks great! I love that lamp as well. It’s for sure going in my image file.
Wow, I love it, particularly the La Fiorentina pillows against the gray! Oh, and the sparkly light – great job!
You mean to tell me that all the texture on the walls is from the light fixture alone?! That’s amazing ~ I thought you texturized them! It’s a gorgeous / metallic effect!

It looks so good! And the light does make it look like you’ve done some kind of paint treatment to the walls. Cool.
Thanks for sharing, it looks really good. And I like the night stands you have. How cool is that light fixture!
