Well I was supposed to be landing in Cape Town right now, but instead I’m sitting in bed writing this post. Th crazy ice storm in Europe got our flight on Saturday canceled and the holiday craziness made it so that they couldn’t get us on another flight until Thursday. At that point, we would’ve missed half of our trip. So our safari adventure was completely canceled (hopefully rescheduled for next year) and instead, we are going here on Wednesday…
It will still be amazing, just nuts that a trip we have been planning for 6 months isn’t happening.
What are your holiday plans? Any disasters to share?

I am so sorry to hear that but it does look like you are still going to a beautiful place! My husband has a safari vacation on his birthday list for 40 so I will be interested to see your pics once you go. We have a few years until we would be going!
