Crazy Rich

The story of the Johnson & Johnson dynasty. They are insanely wealthy, but also pretty insane in general. Really entertaining and interesting.

Major Pettigrew’s Last Stand

A little bit slow, but such a sweet story of getting a second chance at love. Easy read.

David & Goliath

I am a huge fan of Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell so I was really excited to read his new book. It was good (not as good as Outliers). But it makes you think. Offers a new perspective on things which I really enjoy.

Happy new year everyone! We just got home from Mexico with Spencer’s entire extended family, and had a low key NYE in with some close friends. Its been snowing non-stop in Chicago so it gave us a perfect excuse to relax at home and reflect on the past year. Can you believe it is 2014? 2013 was a really fantastic year: I grew my little business, learned a lot about my relationship, make some pretty significant changes to this site (still unsure about it all actually) and renovated and moved into a new home. But I have a feeling 2014 is going to blow my mind. Just an inkling.

In 2014… I want to continue to grow my business. I want to stay positive and not get discouraged. I want to take constructive criticism and run with it. I want to take better care of myself. I want to travel, travel, travel. I want to continue to make myself a priority, I’m a big believer in that.

I love the clean slate of a new year.  What do you want to accomplish in 2014?
