A couple weeks ago I hosted a bridal luncheon for one of my best friends’ weddings. I wanted light, easy food but was at a loss for what exactly to make. I knew I wouldn’t have a ton of time to cook and prep so I decided to have a “skewer party”. All foods were served on a skewer so they were really easy to eat, and even easier to clean up! We did pesto tortellini, chicken sausage and peppers, fruit salad, caprese salad, and greek salad.
The bride is also obsessed with candy, so I had little tags made with the couples initials and wedding dates and made little candy bags for people to take home.
Our flowers were an “adult picnic” theme. Black and white gingham table clothes with white and bright green flowers.
This is awesome! I think this is a great way to do a fall shower. very clean lines, very adult and fun but easy clean up! love it.
what a beautiful luncheon and the food looks awesome!
This is such a great idea! There’s nothing better than simple, pre-prep options like this too…allows you to really enjoy the party and not worry about cooking or heating food once your guests are there!
Love this idea!! And the picnic theme! Hope you had fun in HighPoint!
Such sweet details! Love all of the skewers and the cute gingham!
