In a couple weeks I am heading off to Boston for a little weekend getaway. My mom is from Boston so when I was little I used to visit all the time, but since her family moved away, the only time I’ve made it out there, is on my way to Nantucket (can’t complain).
Anyways, our little vacay was prompted by a deal on Jetsetter.com. I’ve never used this site, but I’ve made a couple purchases off their sister site, Gilt Groupe, and had good experiences. I always read their email blasts and dream of planning a last minute trip to some incredible hotel, at an even more incredible price. So when the Ames Hotel was featured, we jumped on it. Such a great excuse to visit friends, play around in a new city and experience some gorgeous hotel decor.
So what are your suggestions for Boston? Shopping? Restaurants? Things we have to do or see? Lets hear it!
No clothing tax in Boston!
Other than the fact that the snow is blowing horizontal right now ha I am so excited! Hopefully it will clear up by the time you get here. There are some great home and home fabric stores right on Newbury.

We have a ton of snow but I always enjoy going to Copley, Purdential or Newbury st.

Oh I adore Boston- I haven’t been in years but it’s definitely on my list of US favourite cities. That hotel looks amazing- the light in the second picture is incredible. I’m sorry I can’t offer any suggestions but I’m sure you’ll find the chic spots lickity split. Have a fabulous time!!

Love love love Boston- went to BU. You have to go to dinner in the South End (Aquitane is great) and the Ames is supposed to be amazing. Enjoy!

All I can say about Boston is stay warm! The shelving in the last picture is amazing! Especially when you have such great items to display, such as those.

That hotel is gorge. I’ve only been once or twice (strange for a family with a puppy named Fenway) but we go to Nantucket every summer — we should have a little summer blogger meet-up out there!
