I know when other bloggers hold out on pictures of their own home, I start to get a little antsy, so I figured I shouldn’t do the same thing. So, today I’m finally sharing the before and after of our master bathroom.
Here is the before. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. Really generic, really outdated and REALLY not my taste. This was a part of the project that almost got cut, but right before we got started I assured Spencer it would be worth it, and luckily he agreed.
And now the after. We kept the vanity (it just needed a new coat of paint) and we kept the tub (but changed the surround and took the tile off the walls), everything else is new. Mirrors, lights, counter, floor, sink, faucets, shower floors/walls/bench and fixtures. There were a couple things we had to sacrifice (ie medicine cabinets because of the weird dimensions) but otherwise, its pretty damn perfect.

Hi Alex! Love the remodel, looks amazing! I was wondering what the paint color is on the walls?
Love it. I think the sconces have to be my favorite part. Love the detailing on them and that you went with 3 instead of just 2. Perfection!
Love the upgrades – it’s so fresh and pretty. The scones are a perfect touch.

I’m obsessed with the marble and the floors! The wall fixtures are amazing! Where are they from? I love that, well at least what from I can see, you structurally didn’t change anything and that you pretty much just upgraded everything – so beautiful!
