Below are some of the details of my bedroom right now.
Crystal lamps, tufted headboard in the oatmeal basket weave, gorgeous white Matteo Tat bedding, Benjamin Moore Plymouth Rock paint on the walls, and some icky black nightstands in need of a little love (and a paint job). That last thing is a bench that I bought off of craigslist for its beautiful, feminine lines but in desperate need of new upholstery.
So here’s my plan. I have all white bedding which I adore. Now I just want one big lumbar pillow in a fun pattern and my bench upholstered in a complimentary color.
Option 1: This beautiful linen on the pillow, with a sapphire blue velvet on the bench.
Option 2: A contemporary twist on a classic, with just the right amount of pink. On the bench, shimmery bronze linen. 
Option 3: A favorite of mine, with some black to tie in the nightstands and the bench in a velvet and linen stripe
So now here’s your job. VOTE. Which do you like 1, 2 or 3? Boyfriend and I are at a stalemate. So you my lovebugs are going to help us make the decision. Comment and let me know which you like best! Thank youuu!

WOW! By far #1. and I’m a pink person. But that Blue just pops and is so addictive!

Crap- I can’t believe I’m going to say this, knowing my complete love for sweet Misia but something about #1 is pulling at my heart strings- I think it’s the glorious rich inky blue velvet- it would look AMAZING on that bench! But…I also love love #3 of course so I don’t think you could go wrong with either of those. Can’t wait to see the room all finished. xo
I can’t believe that #1 isn’t wining by a landslide!!! The other options are so lovely, too…but I’m just picturing that bench in that fabulous blue velvet…could it really be anything else??? And (in my humble opinion…okay I’m anything but humble (c: ) that top fabric has the most amazing print and would be GORGEOUS with all of the above mentioned elements…Good luck with your decision, it’s a tough one! 3 has the best overall look I think, I love love love it. However… I do adore that blue velvet in number one but the fabric isn’t my personal fave, so I’m going to go with #3.
I dream of a blue velvet couch since the Nov 2006 issue of Domino (is it freakish that I know that??) but for some reason I’m drawn to number 3!
love all the options, but my pick is #1
2 or 3, even though they are all gorgeous. Your pup pups hair will show up most on the blue velvet. haha only thing i could think of to narrow down.
The stripe and print combination is brilliant! So I’d vote #3 ~ it’s unique and chic, a great combination

If I must make a decision… I would have to go with number 2! But i do love number one! I think whatever you choose will be fabulous…can’t wait to see the results.
I would say #1 bc sapphire is my favorite color, but #3 seems to be more your current aesthetic.. unless you’re willing to let a little blue into your life?

So hard to choose because I love that blue velvet, but then I also love the pattern in #2. I guess I’d probably go with #1, I love the unexpected blue.

oh darn I didn’t see this. I like 3, but I can see how the boy might be opposed to a pink stripe bench. silly boys!
is it too late to vote?? DEF # 1. A part of me is in aw over the floral/stripe combo on #3… but c’mon that blue is amazing- and i’d imagine it will have more longevity than the stripes- its easier to recover a pillow when you’ve grown sick of the fabric than it is to re-upholster a bench. AND if the boys on board with that one, give him some love!
