Remember a couple weeks ago when I shared the evolution of our bedroom? Well its finally in a place I like. Feminine and cozy. Right up my alley.
And then those amazing grandparents of mine decided as a wedding present they are going to give us a new mattress, new headboard and new bedding so that we can get the king size bed I’ve been lusting after (boy+girl+90 pound beast does not equal a very comfortable sleeping situation in a queen). So this means… bedroom redo time! I am actually really excited and have already begun collecting some fun bedroom inspiration.
Here are a couple of my all time favorites
I love how this feels like a grown up little girl’s bedroom. The shimmer in the blush wallpaper, the Moroccan wedding blanket, the mismatched lamps and nightstands. Its all so perfectly bohemian.
Ryan Korban can do no wrong in my book. But this has such a beautiful, masculine warmth. So different than the first bedroom but similar too. The asymmetry is perfectly unexpected. Not to mention the furry pillows and Hermes blanket.
And of course. The bedroom we all know. The Persian. The dark walls. The wrinkly hotel bedding. I adore it. Every last bit.
This bedroom feels like a perfect balance. Neutral wallpaper. A really streamlined regency style window treatment. Tailored, clean white bedding. And a beautiful pastel rug on the ground. I’d skip the purple and be in heaven.
So now you see the problem? I am all over the board. I’ve always heard designers have the most trouble with their own spaces, and its definitely holding true. I see so many gorgeous things everyday, its hard to decide what I want for myself!
Which is your favorite?
Love them all but I think #1 with a little bit of #2…love that grown up girly vibe, with a little off kilter thrown in. And PS, what an AWESOME wedding gift!!
I think #4 is so chic – I love how it feels traditional but also has a ton of personality!
I’ll be sad to see your room change, as it’s gorgeous the way it is, but also excited to see what’s to come. My favorites are # 2 and 4. Number 4 is a bit too perfectly polished for me, so some bohemian touches from #2 would be perfect! No matter what, have fun with it!
Thats such a great gift! I loved your old room but I get edgy and always want a change. We dont even have the dog yet and I want a king – yt is not a good sharer..

I really love the black room aka Jenna Lyons bedroom however you know how much I wanted to paint my room super dark AND we’re getting a king tonight and I could not be more excited. This is better than graduating from college.
I have been dying for a King Size bed! We stay so hot and cramped in our queen bed! That last image is my favorite. I have it saved too- do you know who make the wallpaper? Love it! Also love your ikat pillows:)

Wow what a great gift!! We slept on king size beds in Maui and now I am dying to get one! So much more space for us and the fur babies!!! OF course you know that I love the Ryan Korban one and Jenna’s bedroom is so fabulous!! I can’t wait to see what you decide to do!! xoxo

I aboslutely LOVE the last picture…that wallpaper is stunning!! We just purchased a King bed and are moving up from a queen and I couldn’t be more excited!! I can’t wait to see what you choose, I know it will be gorgeous!
