I actually wore my mom’s wedding dress while we were getting ready in the morning and it fit me perfectly. She married in the 70′s so it was a cute white strapless maxi. Perhaps you can refashion your mom’s dress into something?!?!

I felt like dress A was the one, but dress B was what I had in my head before I started shopping. My mom and I grabbed lunch, and a drink, I went back and easily chose A.
It was a mermaid cut, very simple details and raw silk, and it just felt good.
Best thing I learned: go with what you feel and HAVE FUN (and maybe a glass of champagne.)
