I have to say option A – it really makes the area look unique and perhaps you would hang it a little higher in actuality and it wouldn’t really end up blocking your painting? Love it! What a cool finds!

A…It compliments the painting perfectly.
It also helps define the dining area.
B is great but doesn’t seem to fit in the context of the room

I thought B at first, but nope - go with A. A looks gorgeous in your space - you already have a modern feel and the fixture is a hint of classic, but the upper part brings in the mod/contemporary. It looks amazing and shows your artwork behind, too. Gorgeous!!
