AFFILIATE LINKS ARE OCCASIONALLY USED ON AK STUDIO. HOWEVER THEY ARE USED TO ENDORSE PRODUCTS THAT I GENUINELY LIKE AND WANT TO SHARE. ALL OPINIONS ARE MY OWN.
I won’t drag out the wedding pictures forever. I promise. One part this week, and one part next week. And then I’m through!
Here are some of my favorites that weren’t published on SMP.
THE dress. I love it. Its just perfection. Every time I look at it I love it more and more.
You have no idea how much fun we had getting ready (once I came out of my cave). I am blessed with the most amazing friends.
The girls all wore monogrammed shirts from Victoria’s Secret. You can find them here (now available in black and white polka dots… LOVE that, wish they had those when I was buying)
My monogrammed shirt was a gift from an amazing blogging friend (how thoughtful is that?).
How good is Taylor‘s reaction the first time she saw my dress?
Searching for a hair that was trapped under the thousands of layers of tulle.
And then our first look…
I sobbed. All I wanted to do all day was see Spencer so when I finally did, I just completely lost it.
I love this handsome human. So much.
The bridal party…
My bridesmaids in their beautiful custom Elise Bergman dresses.
Groomsmen wore a black suit of their choice, white shirt and we provided ties. Don’t they look dapper? This was my solution to wanting black tie but the groom nixing it.
All of us together.
The ceremony.
You’ve probably seen most of these pictures on SMP, so I’ll just share my favorites
My little brothers and cousins getting ready to walk down the aisle
A stolen moment alone after the ceremony. Probably my favorite picture from the entire day/night.
If you made it to the bottom of this, I’m impressed. If you made it to the bottom and aren’t totally sick of my wedding… then come back next week for the reception and after party!
Most of you have followed along as I decorated and redecorated our master bedroom. You can see all of the stages here. For some reason, its the room that never stuck.
Until now…
Here it is! I love it.
I have something to admit. I am a little bit of a bedding snob. I choose very carefully and choose to invest in my bedding and yes, it can be an investment. But a couple weeks ago Bailey from Biscuit Home (and Peppermint Bliss fame) sent me a duvet and shams from her new line of bedding and I fell in love. They are so soft and such amazing quality, but not for an investment price. I couldn’t believe it you guys. I was knocked off my bedding snobbery pedestal big time. This stuff is gorgeous and so well priced.
And today you get the chance to win a pair of Biscuit Shams! See below for ways to enter
Top piece was a wedding present, I do not remember who the artist was. The bottom piece is a gem by Sally King Benedict that was purchased through Chassity.
Black and white abstract is by Jenny Andrew (yeah you know her from MFAMB, but shes also an insane artist). Teacups were my grandmas. Other sources: Quartz tray, my favorite Twirl perfume, and my jewelry armoire.
