Pretty in Pastels

I have really been loving pastels lately. Especially light pink with a little bit of greenish blue in there. So soft and pretty.  If it were up to me I’d be throwing some black in too. Helps keep a perfect little balance.

I think I like this look best in fashion. Less so in interiors. Interiors need a little something rough for me to be happy.

My weekend

Well, this weekend went by WAY too fast (I know, they all do). A couple highlights…
Went to one of my favorite BBQ restaurants and was happily surprised by key lime pie on the menu (my new obsession, how did I go 25 years without trying this treasure?)

My dad got a new puppy. His name is Snoop (Snoop Dog to be exact) and I’m in love. I mean looooooook at him!

Spent some time at the pool. Pretty much heaven. So happy summer is finally here (minus the expected 50 degree temps this week).
Still enjoying my peonies from over a week ago!
