This weekend was so much fun. Turns out you have to make spa reservations very far in advance, so that was not included in the fun, but we kept ourselves busy.

On Saturday morning we drove up the Kohler, Wisconsin to stay at The American Club.

First up, was The Brat Stop. I have no shame. I love brats. YUM.

And yes Kohler, Wisconsin is the same town where the Kohler brand was developed. So we took a trip over to the Kohler Design Center. Luckily, everyone enjoyed it (not just me). Highlights were their new collection of brass fixtures and installation of toilets and tubs on the walls.

On the second floor of the design center are bathroom and kitchen displays designed by some famous designers. Here is the worst and the best.

We went on an amazing hike and took lots of pictures!

Yes. We made snow angels. Long story. Love this picture of us our shadows looking down on the river.

And spent a ton of time being lazy in front of the fire.

It was such a fun weekend. If you live in the Chicago/Milwaukee area, I highly suggest a weekend getaway. It was the perfect relaxing weekend. Hope you enjoyed yours too!
