Wedding Wednesday: Save the Date

Thank you all so much for your sweet comments yesterday. I know I’ve said 1,000 times, but the support from my amazing followers is absolutely mind blowing. From the very bottom of my heart, thank you. You gave me the confidence to start my business and provide me with support that makes me want to keep doing it every day!
And now back to Wedding Wednesday… I would like to finally share my Save the Dates with you! I have had many requests and finally took a couple pictures to share with you. I’m sorry they aren’t the best pictures, but you can get an idea!
I wanted something very simple and classic, but with a subtle tie to us.
Recognize that print on the envelope liner? Its the same as the fabric on the chairs in our living room. Replicated by the amazing Jessica from Suitor (who designed our entire invitation suite).
The actual save the date itself is really simple. I loved the fonts and rich grey letterpress.
A couple more details… beautiful calligraphy on the envelopes by Plurabelle and the custom stamps that matched the liner!
And be sure to check out my feature on Off the Cuff today!

Chicago Magazine

Well it came a little sooner than I had expected but today I can finally share my spread in Chicago Magazine and that means pictures of my condo too!
Just to make it even more surreal, they put me on the cover (my face looks pretty creepy, but I can’t complain). Honestly, I am speechless. Ecstatic. I just really don’t know what to say.
If you’re in the Chicago area, make sure to pick up this months Chicago Magazine (there is a special edition of Chicago Home + Garden in there). And if not, you can always buy a digital copy online..

A very, very special thanks to Miss Alaina Kaczmarski, who styled this shoot. She was so much fun to work with and brought out the very best of my home.
