This week for Wedding Wednesday I wanted to share something really fun that we had made by the very talented Hanna Nation of Gadabout. If you aren’t familiar with Hanna’s work… get familiar! I am obsessed. Her stylish illustrations and gorgeous graphic design had me at hello. I mean, just look at her homepage

So I reached out to Hanna asking her to create a custom illustration of Spencer, Maverick and me. This was the only reference I provided

 
 I gave her specifics of what I wanted us to wear and this beauty is what I got in my inbox

My jaw was on the floor, totally obsessed. Immediately my mind went crazy over the possibilities of this adorable illustration. Frame it and print it on everything I can get my hands on.

 So first step was printing it onto stationary for our shower thank you notes. I sent them out, and seriously got emails from half of the recipients asking where they came from!

Any other ideas? I am thinking welcome bags….

Today is this first day of May. Wow. This year has flown by. May has me excited for a lot of things!

It means I will have been dating this handsome fellow for 9 freaking years! And it also means he will celebrate his 27th birthday (old man).

In May I will be taking a pre-wedding vacation with my momma to Palm Springs

In May I will be going to NYC for Blogest 2012. I cannot wait to meet so many amazing people who I already feel like I know!
