Hi guys! Naomi from Design Manifest here. I’m thrilled to filling in for Alex while she enjoys what is sure to be a fabulous wedding and honeymoon. Congrats, girl!!! Love is a beautiful thing, isn’t it?
I too have a great love in my life right now. It’s paisley. I just can’t get enough of it. Block print fabrics or large scale wallpaper versions really excite me. It’s great pattern to throw into the mix if you want a little bohemian with your preppy (my favorite look!) This isn’t your grandma’s paisley. Take a look…
**Today is my last day of blogging before I take a little break for the wedding and honeymoon. Don’t worry, I have some of my favorite bloggers lined up while I’m gone. I’ll be back on October 8 with some pictures and some exciting announcements on the career front!**
Its my final pre-wedding Wednesday. Kind of crazy. Well now, its almost over. Should I continue Wedding Wednesdays post wedding? I’m not sure, you guys tell me.
But here, right before my wedding, I want to tell you what an amazing/crazy/ridiculous/stressful/fun/overwhelming 487 days its been.
Us 7 years ago.
With a whole lot of bright light at the end of the tunnel, I can say none of the stresses matter (easy to say now right?). The bakery who was doing our cake going out of business, the lack of RSVPs with only 3 weeks to the wedding, and the table cloth shortage, none of it will affect our day, even the tiniest bit. At the end of the day, its one day, its a special one, but its special because I am marrying an incredible human being.
And with that, a picture of the night Spencer and I met, over 9 years ago. Such babies. Who would’ve thought the guy in jorts and a cut off tshirt would be my husband?
Things I am looking most forward to… Seeing my groom at the end of the aisle Having our pup there for pictures before the ceremony Celebrating with every single person we love in one place A very special surprise from my dad (I know what it is but no one else does) Eating delicious food (specifically our cake) Dancing like an idiot with my friends And most importantly, not leaving my man’s side the entire night.
