I really love this post because it's so relatable and we all deal with this. I find it is so easy to get caught up in the disappointments in life and forget the positive things. Life's disappointments are what get us through and push us harder and, if you let them, they can get you to where you are meant to be. The most important thing is that you keep putting yourself out there and keep trying. Too many times I find that I am so afraid of the failures and disappointments that I end up not taking action. I struggle with this a lot. So I think it's great that you are keeping positive- being positive is so powerful- and still putting yourself out there. You can learn the lesson from the disappointments, but then let them go and move on. As long as you got the lesson, the disappointment served it's purpose and there is no need to let it linger. Thanks for the honesty and keeping it real!

Funny thing how "failing" finds itself into life- right? But, what I find even more interesting, is what we do with the failures- not necessarily at the time inwhich the negative situation occurs- but more when SUCCESS occurs. To enjoy and appreciate that successful moment a littl more, as well as the journey it took to get there. To remember that there were failures prior to the success and the greatest feeling that we did not give in; instead we pushed harder because we knew success was out there to be achieved! Keep on taking risks- feeling the rewards- experiencing failures- and dancing with SUCCESS! Much admiration to you, Alex!

Bruce Jenner was just talking to Lamar Odom about this on the Kardashian's {sorry, I don't mean to bring the tone down, or anything!} But it's so true and so relevant to everyone. How successful we are definitely depends on our we react to failures and set backs. We can let them bring us down and maybe even quit or we can learn from them and keep on going! Thanks for the great post!

thank you so much for being real! Sometimes it seems like other bloggers have so much more everything (money, style, perfect life, opportunities, etc) that it can get discouraging. It's good to remember we all experience the same things!

Alex, I know exactly how you feel but I feel like mistakes or failures make you better. IF you can get through them and keep some kind of positive attitude, you are better and stronger for it. Life is def. full of disappointments and grief but it makes the positive things even better. Like Taylor said, I am proud of you! xoxoxo
