Today I am sharing our engagement pictures by the amazingly talented Aaron Delesie. We aren’t using our pictures for the save the dates or for the guest book, we really just did it to get comfortable with Aaron before our wedding day. We definitely accomplished that goal, and in the mean time, we got some really special pictures!

You might remember that we had the most insanely ridiculous weather, and since Aaron was coming in from California we had no choice but to shoot that day. We decided to embrace the bad weather and make it part of the pictures and I am so glad we did. It made the day an adventure and I love the character that it gives to our pictures.

Today we are having our engagement pictures taken (we couldn’t have any worse of weather), and in honor of that, I decided to share some of the gorgeousness from our photographer’s portfolio. 

Aaron Delesie is so incredibly talented. These pictures completely take my breath away.

The weather is Chicago is nightmarish today, so my location plans are completely shot. Anyone have any genius ideas for indoor spots in Chicago??

Well regardless, I cannot wait to see (and share) our engagement pictures! If they look anything like these I will be seriously happy.
