As my wedding gets closer and closer Wedding Wednesdays are becoming a bit more real! We’re about 7 weeks away now. Crazy!! Today I’d like to share some peeks of some recent details of my own wedding.
It is REAL. We have waited 14 months (or actually maybe more like 9.5 years… but whose counting) and now its getting close. Seriously close. And I cannot wait.
Today’s Wedding Wednesday is a tale of shoes. Lots of shoes. Most of my wedding decisions have been really easy. I was super decisive through all of the planning process and almost always knew exactly what I wanted. But for some reason, when it came to shoes I was lost.
I knew I wanted something with a bit of sparkle for my ceremony shoes and I knew I want flat sandals to change into for the reception. That was where my direction ended.
1. I would look back at pink ombre sequin shoes and wonder what I was thinking
2. Flip flops in a big wedding dress was a recipe for disaster
So I started over. Returned these guys and began to get a little worried.
I ended up with two pairs of shoes I adore. They are comfortable and fun and I will wear them both again, a lot. I’m not going to share my final decision, but here are some great options I considered.
