<p>Here&#8217;s the thing. There is nothing more perfect than a chandelier over a dining room table. Light fixtures are truly my weakness. Sadly, my dining space is definitely not the ideal space for one such chandy. Instead of trying to make this decision with the boy (worst sounding board ever when it comes to lighting), I am taking it to you dearest readers.</p>
<p>So here it is&#8230;. my dining space. I live in a completely open plan apartment. Kitchen, dining and living is all one big momma room.
<div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qeuprn2x3Ok/TVyUXvvWJyI/AAAAAAAACgU/GJthDJY6Gs0/s1600/IMG00393-20101113-0911.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qeuprn2x3Ok/TVyUXvvWJyI/AAAAAAAACgU/GJthDJY6Gs0/s320/IMG00393-20101113-0911.jpg" width="320"></a></div>
<p>A light fixture above the table could do one of two things:<br />1. help define the space<br />2. be totally floaty and weird</p>
<p>Why is it that I have so much difficulty with my own space and not anyone elses? Hmmm. Designer&#8217;s problem for sure. Anyways, I have to be careful with the light fixture I choose (if I choose one) because I wouldn&#8217;t want it to block my <a href="http://thingsthatsparkleblog.blogspot.com/2010/11/new-addition.html">painting</a>. So this definitely limits my choices.</p>

<p>
<div>Option A: </div>
<div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-oUgzQ9N7xiM/TVxW9VgWlqI/AAAAAAAACgE/HwF4Vsg4SAk/s1600/Screen+shot+2011-02-16+at+4.59.49+PM.png"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-oUgzQ9N7xiM/TVxW9VgWlqI/AAAAAAAACgE/HwF4Vsg4SAk/s400/Screen+shot+2011-02-16+at+4.59.49+PM.png" width="237"> </a></div>
<div></div>
<div>Option B:</div>
<div></div>
<div></div>
<div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-x0jFwzbDKHQ/TVxd5PJVDHI/AAAAAAAACgM/honAjGDFYkU/s1600/Screen+shot+2011-02-16+at+5.28.54+PM.png"><img border="0" height="275" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-x0jFwzbDKHQ/TVxd5PJVDHI/AAAAAAAACgM/honAjGDFYkU/s320/Screen+shot+2011-02-16+at+5.28.54+PM.png" width="320"></a></div>
<div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fRsbrGLOIyw/TVxd6__Qq1I/AAAAAAAACgQ/yG0CPZUMNYE/s1600/Screen+shot+2011-02-16+at+5.29.12+PM.png"><img border="0" height="261" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fRsbrGLOIyw/TVxd6__Qq1I/AAAAAAAACgQ/yG0CPZUMNYE/s320/Screen+shot+2011-02-16+at+5.29.12+PM.png" width="320"></a></div>
<div></div>
<div>Option C:</div>
<div>No chandelier. Put a pretty light fixture somewhere else.</div>
<div></div>
<div></div>
<div>So LETS HEAR it!!!! A, B or C </div>
<div></div>
<div>The INCREDIBLE <a href="http://idratherbeshopping.wordpress.com/">joAnn</a> just threw this together for me to help me make a decision! It helps so much doesnt it?? Thank you so much J.! </div>
<div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-YRTfzBQo2vM/TV1wyc6rQ2I/AAAAAAAACgc/0_tgUfNx5_g/s1600/alexandra+2.png" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-YRTfzBQo2vM/TV1wyc6rQ2I/AAAAAAAACgc/0_tgUfNx5_g/s320/alexandra+2.png" width="317"></a></div>
<p>
<div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WqviLMO98Wc/TV1w0LQ98YI/AAAAAAAACgg/UQxpvZHLg5o/s1600/alexandra+1.png" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="241" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WqviLMO98Wc/TV1w0LQ98YI/AAAAAAAACgg/UQxpvZHLg5o/s320/alexandra+1.png" width="320"></a></div>
<div>Now I am really concerned they are going to totally block my beloved painting&#8230; OY.</div>
