It seems like all of the ABD projects I am revealing to you are always bathrooms (here and here). I guess its because they are finished quickly and aren’t the never-ending projects that living rooms, bedrooms etc can be. 

I am extra excited about this one. My client wanted to update to a spa oasis, instead of her builder basic master bath. I just love the way it turned out.

 We got in a lot of extra storage with the medicine cabinets, had a custom vanity built, added quite a bit of detail added to our new marble’s edges, beautiful sconces, new paint, new trim, new art. Really everything is new in the entire bathroom. Nothing stayed.

As most of you know, I work from home and it is not something I particularly enjoy. There are far too many distractions and far, far too many fabric memos taking over my dining room table. I had considered converting our guest bedroom into an at-home office for a while, but in the end decided I really needed to get out of the house!

I had a vision in my head. A space I could share with someone else. Someone I knew I’d have fun with. Some in a creative industry with a work style similar to mine. So a couple of months I began the hunt…

The office mate was definitely the easiest part of the search! Liz from Sequins and Stripes and I have been blog friends for a while and get along perfectly. Really, we are the same person and have the same boyfriends. I approached her with the idea and lucky me, she was immediately on board.

Next the search for an office began. Who knew commercial leases took so long? It was a crazy process, but as of this week, I am so incredibly excited to announce that we are preparing to move into our new office space!

I am so excited to share this exciting new step for Alexandra Berlin Design. And Liz and I plan on including all of you in our decorating process too, so get ready for some idea boards!
