This weekend kicked my butt. I’m exhausted. Luckily, it was worth it, we had so much fun.

The insanely beautiful flowers for the bridal shower (David Austen roses, sweet pea, dusty miller and carnations).

A concert with one of my very favorite bands. If you haven’t checked out Wild Belle, I highly suggest you do, now. (this song, or this, or this actually any of them)

Toasting to the bride-to-be 

Hope you had a great weekend. Its absolutely frigid here in Chicago. I’m scared to leave the house so hopefully that means I will be super productive on this holiday, quasi day off.

This is a Friday I really needed. The week went by in a crazy flash and I’m looking forward to a serious party this weekend. A weekend that will be spent celebrating a bride-to-be with a bridesmaid dinner, bridal shower, bachelorette party and brunch! Lots of girl time and lots of excuses to get dressed up. Two of my favorite things.

Have a great weekend! And if you have Monday off, enjoy it! Its supposed to be a whopping 12 degrees here in Chicago, I think that calls for a fire, a glass of red wine and never leaving the house.
