I have a photoshoot today and in preparation I’ve been going through some of my favorite styling images for inspiration. You have probably heard, or know first hand, but homes that are photographed often look nothing like they actually do in real life. Most of that, is thanks to styling. People don’t typically live their coffee tables covered in books, their nightstands with perfectly folded glasses and a cup tea or a jar of apples, but it looks really nice in a picture. So that is what styling is for! You can check out my styling board for more inspiration too

I’m really excited to share this project all styled up. It was fun a collaboration between the very talented homeowner and myself.

We’re off to Asia tomorrow so my posts may be even spottier than they have been lately. But I promise when I get back, things will be back to normal!

I’m sorry for the unexpected break. I haven’t deserted this site completely, I promise. But work has been absolutely crazy and we leave for Asia on Saturday so it just magnifies the chaos. I am in the really fun, creative, exciting stage of so many projects right. I am just dying to share.

So… I’ve been scheming like crazy and here is what came out of it. All concepts have been signed off on!

This is a scheme for a formal living room that is already furnished (in all grey) but desperately need some color, pattern and funk.

This one is a cozy, neutral, family room. Although I am typically drawn to color, I am SO excited to execute an entirely neutral, textural space.

I’ve been working with a close friend on her little lady’s nursery. The black, white and pink scheme is just so perfect. So soft, sweet and girly.

I’ve been working with this client for almost two years. We know eachothers really well so this room fell so perfectly into place. Its going to be a formal great room with so much personality.
