I am going to check out a day early for Thanksgiving, but I have to say… this week… and year was really one to be thankful for. 

This week my family is all in one city, I got some incredible news (can’t share quite yet, but I’m freakingggg, how annoying am I?) and I received some of the sweetest, most thoughtful feedback on my guest post on Design Darling.

This year, I got engaged to my very best friend in the world, began my dream career and met some really amazing people. I guess. I am just feeling really lucky right now.
I won’t keep making lists, I just want to say how thankful I am for all of YOU amazing readers. I am in awe of the endless support you have provided for me. Truly, its amazing. Most of you have never even met me, but somehow you believe in me and I appreciate it more than I can even begin to express.
So, thank you. It’s all I can say. And all I can do is…

today, the real thanksgiving, i am thankful for my boyfriend. and here i go getting personal… but for 8 years he has been the most amazing partner i could have ever asked for. every thanksgiving i have, is better with him in it.

today, i am thankful for my amazing family. seriously amazing. i have two sisters that are the two best friends i could ever ask for. parents that i look up to and admire more than anyone in the world. and two baby brothers who are way too cute and WAY too much fun. oh, and the most precious little puppy-son in the world. im very, very lucky.

today, i am thankful for this blog. seriously. it has given me some much inspiration, friendship and imagination that i never knew i could have. i have “met” amazing people and become even more excited about creating beautiful spaces. sounds silly. but every little comment i get on here brightens my day. so thank you fabulous readers and followers. kisses.

for the next couple days my posts are going to feature something i am thankful for. and with it, a perfect little vignette.

today, i am thankful for taking a big leap and following my dream of becoming a designer. it wouldve been easy to stay in my safe advertising bubble, but i am so glad i didnt. i can’t wait to see what the next year holds for me.

this weekend we have a our potluck thanksgiving with friends! i cannot wait. we are bringing mashed potatoes, wild rice salad and apple crisp. looking forward to spending tomorrow cooking with the boy.
