Hello everyone!  It’s Elizabeth and Annie from THE NOW.  We’re thrilled to be guest blogging on TTS today… after all, Alex is one of our blogging besties! 
Today we’re taking you on a little tour of our dream home.  Well, make that our dream NOW Getaway.  Every blogging duo needs one, right?  After all, we both live in Dallas with our guys (E with her hubby, and A with her hubby-to-be), but wouldn’t it be nice to have that perfect, girly getaway to jet off to every once in awhile?  Our dream home is located in Manhattan, and there’s plenty of room for the two of us to have master suites of our own.  Plus, we threw in a darling bunk room for our little nieces and nephews.  Oh, and for any of you who want to come visit us!

this weekend is my last taste of summer. its supposed to be 80 degrees in chicago and after this its going to be fall . my favorite season!

i figured i would share a couple pictures from our roof deck… since its my favorite part of our apartment. there are two sections, “laying out section” and “dining section”. its definitely not complete, i still have lots of ideas. but its getting there. and most of all, i am proud of my planters! they are flourishing!!

all summer ive been looking for outdoor pillows. i inherited some gorgeous Brown Jordan furniture for my deck, but it came with such ugly beige cushions, its been impossible to find something that i like to match.

so yesterday i made a little trip over to restoration hardware, and what do you know? their outdoor pillows are 60% off. done and done. will post pictures when deck is complete.

and in chicago that means some beautiful sunny warm days, and some days like today- rainy and chilly. to focus more on the sunny days a good friend, has suggested I show these beautiful outdoor spaces. love love love.
