This rug. I passed it up on ebay and when I went back to buy it, it was gone. So sad. Its not often you find a neon pink Persian.

I‘ve ordered these sunglasses before and returned them because Spencer told me I looked like a cartoon. Shouldn’t have listened because I can’t stop thinking about them. Reordered last night. #normal.

Anything and everything monogrammed. I am waiting until after the wedding to buy myself anything with my new initials and I think it just makes me want it all even more. Especially if its from Leontine Linens.

Spring! Or actually more like summer (it was 80 degrees today) has arrived in Chicago. We don’t usually have much of a spring so this has me seriously excited.

This monogrammed ipad case. Its so hard to find an ipad case that is not only pretty, but functional. This one nails it. As soon as my initials change, I’m buying this thing!

This new line of hardware. Can I redo every single drawer, cabinet and door in my house please?

1. This week I received this pretty little necklace c/o Maya Brenner, and I haven’t take it off since. It is the perfect everyday, wear with everything necklace. So sweet and delicate, but perfectly personalized.

2. This insanely well priced piece of art. How gorgeous?? I love the colors. Already have multiple places I want to put it.

3. Cannot wait to make these cake batter, easy-as-can-be cookies.

4. Loving this romantic, boho hairstyle. I think it needs to be in my near future (via).

Today I am over at Julia’s blog, The Urban Slant, participating in a brand new series. The series is about people who left their job in corporate America to pursue their dream job. There are so many incredibly talented people out there in the blog world who have taken this bold step, this new series looks into their decision and I am honored to be a part of it!

I asked Spencer if I could have this nugget for Valentine’s Day. He said no. So I asked if I could have her for March… Day. He said no again. Any other ideas? I need HER. I would name her Tallulah and call her Tully. All the hard work is basically done.

If these shoes didn’t have a weird, creepy curved heel I would buy them for my wedding in a second. They are the perfect color of pink. Too bad, too bad.

So looking forward to another girl’s Valentine’s party. This time a brunch. I am already brainstorming decorations for this year. This pic is from last years soiree!

This pink bag would be so perfect with any outfit. I have been lusting after it for way too long to now own it already. Silly budget.

I call this room, “Ryan Korban does minimalism”. I sort of love it. I would add a bunch of stuff though, so it was really not minimalistic at all. But I still love it.

The most amazing chandelier I saw on the Pieces website. I am in love. Need this for my bedroom.

So I’ve been on the look out for the perfect rehearsal dinner dress. When I found this I was SOLD. I started calling stores to find it, only to find out it was Spring 2010, not 2012. Soooo disappointing. The search continues.

Oh and PS tomorrow I will be answering everyone’s source questions about my apartment.

I’ve started to get our house decorated for the holidays. This year decor is all silver and gold… and I love it! A fun change, but this white, metallic and neon is veryyyy tempting.

My new winter coat and early birthday present! I am pretty much in love. We’re soulmates. I wear it around the house.

2. Sally Benedict King. I have fallen in love with this lady’s artwork. Head over heels. I want to redo our entire bedroom around one of her pieces. Heaven.

3. Glitter manicures. Seriously you should see my nails right now. I look like human confetti. Its great. But these nails would be a pretty good second option. (via)

4. This delicious tomato soup that I made the other night from Lara’s recipe. I added grilled cheese on ciabatta with goat cheese and fresh basil. YUM.

5. This dress from The Edit, technically its “resort” but I’m going to wear it with black tights for a holiday party! PS how awkward is this model??

I am so happy to report that my doggy is home! He is shaved and has lots of stitches, but the baby barely even realizes anything happened, he’s so happy. Thank you all SO much for your well wishes for the little man. And now I’ll stop the dog talk. All you non-pet people (is there such a thing??) probably think I am crazy!

Here are my weekly obsessions

I love any and all champagne and prosecco, but this most definitely my favorite. Rustico. It is so easy to drink, so refreshing and so reasonable! It can be found here.

This INSANE “frosted” party that Vogue threw, the White Fairy Tale Ball. I have never seen anything like it in my life. So much inspiration here.

The jaw-dropping artwork from Jenny of My Favorite and My Best. She just goes along blogging and making us laugh, and then out of nowhere… SUPERHERO TALENT. I am deeply in love with every.single.thing this girl does. I am desperately searching for a wall for this goodness.

Seasonal eating. Apples and pumpkin. Is there anything else better than these things baked into cookies, or bread, or cake or everything?
