stolen

excuse my terrible photography skills, but i have inherited a new piece of art (and thats much more important). it was in my house growing up and i have always been in love. we refer to it as “the bleeding tree”. its beyond. this pic does not do it justice.

anywayssss, my mom moved out of her suburban home where this piece lived, so while she was gone this weekend, i hijacked it. took it off the wall, and into my car (with some help from the sisters). my mom claims “she wants it back at some point” but we all know thats not going to happen.

weekend finds.

on sunday, i went to the Randolph Street Market for the first time, and it was well worth it. only problem is i made the mistake of bringing a boyfriend and big fat dog on a 90 degree day = trip was cut way too short. however, i still got a couple treasures.

1. a bunch of pink marble grapes. yum. they are gorgeous
2. an antler. the boy is a hunter (ew, dont judge) and these seemed just too perfect
3. a vintage monet necklace. the detailing is insane.

(PS sorry the pics are at weird angles, for some reason they wouldnt rotate.)

all and all quite successful, even for being cut short. i will definitely be going back in june.
