Hello everyone!  It’s Elizabeth and Annie from THE NOW.  We’re thrilled to be guest blogging on TTS today… after all, Alex is one of our blogging besties! 
Today we’re taking you on a little tour of our dream home.  Well, make that our dream NOW Getaway.  Every blogging duo needs one, right?  After all, we both live in Dallas with our guys (E with her hubby, and A with her hubby-to-be), but wouldn’t it be nice to have that perfect, girly getaway to jet off to every once in awhile?  Our dream home is located in Manhattan, and there’s plenty of room for the two of us to have master suites of our own.  Plus, we threw in a darling bunk room for our little nieces and nephews.  Oh, and for any of you who want to come visit us!

 I love when rooms have a little bit of moody glamor to them.

 What I love is that moody doesn’t have to mean dark.

I decided, per Chassity‘s advice, that I’m only going to post my “obsessions of the week” when I have some serious obsessing to do. And today, I really do, so here they are:

1. The most perfectly gorgeous bag. The material. The color. The style. The ribbon. The gold chain. NOT the price.
2. Gorgeous vanity designed by fellow blogger, Amber

3. Wanting a puppy, desperately. This one in particular. I found the exact one I want and the boyfriend will not allow it. I am very upset. I have already named her Ollie. So come on boyfriend, say yes.
4. Dallas Shaw‘s gorgeous illustrations. Pretty much perfection. And to make it even better… she has a blog!
5. Love these unexpected combinations, especially my Bengal Bazaar mixed in.

Last night I wore my favorite new blush, colored top and decided… its my favorite color. Really, its perfect. 


And why I love the color even more…I’m blushing. Blushing from all of your sweet comments yesterday on my little Valentine’s Day Table. You are all seriously amazing.

Although I dream of a pink sofa, its just not in the card. Boys ruin everything. But…its shocking how much a little bouquet of pink flowers can add to a room. Check out picture #1 and #4, just enough pink with something so easy. No boy will complain about pink flowers, so its a perfection solution for those struggling with adding a pop-o-pink. 

Have a fantastic weekend! In Chicago we are expecting temperatures in the 40s… sounds like beach weather to me!!!

I am in love with this screen from one of my favorite shops, Pieces. But its gorgeous isnt it? Just the right amount of detailing. Still simple and clean. Yumm.

Which is your favorite use, as a headboard or as a mirror?

These rooms all have the same cozy, collected feel. And I LOVE them all.

1 part mixing of metals

Can I redo my apartment once a month? And have an unlimited budget? This is some serious inspiration right here.
