For my birthday I received two of the most gorgeous flower arrangements I just had to share.


They are the two most different kinds of flower arrangements you can do, but I love them both.

… then i found these flowers. that are so insanely gorgeous and REALLY weirdly match the color palate of the three dresses i wrote about below… well, i guess im consistent.

i figured i would share a couple pictures from our roof deck… since its my favorite part of our apartment. there are two sections, “laying out section” and “dining section”. its definitely not complete, i still have lots of ideas. but its getting there. and most of all, i am proud of my planters! they are flourishing!!

i love a good hoopah. and this one is up there with my very favorites. filing away.

so this weekend i hosted a birthday party for my mom. she loves flowers as much as i do so i wanted to make sure they were something special. i had my very favorite florist, dilly lily, put two larger arrangements together for the event, and i offered to do the rest. i told the florist i wanted pinks, whites and greens. can you guess which one i did and which one they did? yeahh i thought so. theirs were incredible. and didnt really match the brighter ones that i put together. oops. but all in all everything looked pretty together and i was very pleased how it all turned out!

love the mix of pink, white and dusty greeny/grey from the succulents. a little bit like the flowers we are doing for the fete this weekend. can’t wait. pictures to come, obviously.
