The Now’s NYC Getaway

Hello everyone!  It’s Elizabeth and Annie from THE NOW.  We’re thrilled to be guest blogging on TTS today… after all, Alex is one of our blogging besties!
Today we’re taking you on a little tour of our dream home.  Well, make that our dream NOW Getaway.  Every blogging duo needs one, right?  After all, we both live in Dallas with our guys (E with her hubby, and A with her hubby-to-be), but wouldn’t it be nice to have that perfect, girly getaway to jet off to every once in awhile?  Our dream home is located in Manhattan, and there’s plenty of room for the two of us to have master suites of our own.  Plus, we threw in a darling bunk room for our little nieces and nephews.  Oh, and for any of you who want to come visit us!

Check it out!

xoxo E & A
Ok quick note from Alex – This might’ve been one of my all time favorite posts, you girls created the house of my dreams!! Can we all move to NYC and create it ASAP???

Closet Reveal

So…When we moved in I politely asked (required) the boyfriend to use the guest closet so I could have this guy all to myself. And thank goodness I did, because I use ever single square inch of it.
I didn’t style it or organize it. I wanted you to see what its really like. What I did do was hang my chandelier, put in a new rug and pick up my laundry off the floor! I even left that bottom drawer a little open… oops!
So now that you have the background… here it is:

So you see? Its nothing so crazy fancy. No island. No full, head on shots. But I love it.
Here are the details:
* I used all of these hangers and I will NEVER go back (be careful, the black looks pretty but it sheds, so I went with Ivory)
* My chandelier was a vintage find and I am obsessed
* The rug is from CSN and it was the perfect touch. Having something soft under my feet makes a world of difference in the morning
*My jewelry is stored in a jewelry box that was the very first present I ever got from my boyfriend, 8 years ago! I still love it just as much
*My little teacups belonged to my grandmother.
*The necklace branch holder thing is from Urban.
Hope you enjoyed and that I didn’t build it up too much! It was definitely good motivation for me to get those finishing touches completed.
