I recently got a gift certificate to Amazon that I want to spend on buying some books. So as I made up a list of ones I’ve been wanting for a while I discovered some of these pictures…

Isnt a little book vignette so much prettier with a Chanel book tucked in there?

Why is that? Just the black and white words are pretty? Well regardless, I love Coco and am adding this one to my collection (in college, when I was in the library, pretending to study, I used to check this book out and stare at the gorgeous collage of pictures).
And if you dont own this one you should, because its leopard underneath that little paper cover. And as a big added bonus, the rooms inside are gorgeous.

What other coffee table books do you have that are pretty? I don’t want to buy a book just because its pretty, it definitely helps the sale. Just as importantly, I’d like for them to contain something that interests me inside. Any ideas?

as an early birthday present i just received the limited edition book, hue by kelly wearstler. not only are there some amazing goodies inside, the outside cover is insanely gorgeous. baby blue cloth and gold embossed letters. this is coffee table eye candy at it best.

the second i spotted Coralie Bickford-Smith’s art deco, metallic, F. Scott Fitzgerald book covers, i knew i had to own them. the only place i could find them was on Amazon UK, so i sucked up the $15 in shipping and bit the bullet. they arrived today and i couldnt be happier. they are truly works of art.
