another great example of christina murphy’s beautiful, colorful work. love this retro beach cottage that was featured in house beautiful this month. i am not a huge fan of homes having a “theme” (green). but i think this is a pretty cute house. the entire concept was done around the painted lily pad floor in the living room. its a refreshing change from beach houses done in accents of blue.
i especially LOVE that painting above the mantle.
some muted pretty to start your weekend. i still can’t say i understand the purpose of decor pad, other than being an inspiration source. but thats ok, look at all the pretty i found there today!
there is an endless heat advisory here in chicago, and all i can think about in snuggling up in some serious air conditioning in one of these rooms. is it terrible to admit that i am really looking forward to fall?
