I decided to share the before and after pictures of my very first 100% completed client project. I had the most absolutely, amazing first clients. They wanted creativity, they wanted different, they wanted fun. Not to mention, they are the worlds nicest people!

So here it is. The bathroom project!

The Now’s NYC Getaway

Hello everyone! It’s Elizabeth and Annie from THE NOW. We’re thrilled to be guest blogging on TTS today… after all, Alex is one of our blogging besties!

Today we’re taking you on a little tour of our dream home. Well, make that our dream NOW Getaway. Every blogging duo needs one, right? After all, we both live in Dallas with our guys (E with her hubby, and A with her hubby-to-be), but wouldn’t it be nice to have that perfect, girly getaway to jet off to every once in awhile? Our dream home is located in Manhattan, and there’s plenty of room for the two of us to have master suites of our own. Plus, we threw in a darling bunk room for our little nieces and nephews. Oh, and for any of you who want to come visit us!

I love when rooms have a little bit of moody glamor to them.

What I love is that moody doesn’t have to mean dark.

And a moody glam nursery?? Insane! And yeah I think I just coined a new style name.

Client Sneak Peak

I wanted to share a little bit of what I’ve been doing outside of school. Design school is great, it gives you the skills in AutoCAD and drafting that are really important. But… I got antsy and really wanted to start on some smaller projects. So, today I want to share with you a bathroom I’m working on with the most amazing clients ever. Not only do they have incredible taste, but they could not be nicer people!

Their requests for this bathroom. Make a statement and make it feminine but edgy. Thats it. So here is where we ended up…
I am absolutely dying for it to be finished. Still waiting on the wallpaper install right now. You can’t tell but the wallpaper is actually black matte on black high gloss. Gorgeous!

Have you ever seen four more glamorous, more different spaces? I love love love my bathroom. But it would be even more perfect if I could have an incredible light fixture and some gorgeous sheers like miss richardson.

Sorry for the late in the morning post. I’ve been taking my vacation time very seriously, and this includes sleeping until 9:00. So, I thought it would be nice to go through and share some of the gorgeous rooms I’ve saved for fun, but not for any particular post. An easy, no purpose, pretty vacation post…

i am currently working on redoing some bathrooms and these inspiration shots are high on my list. they all have one thing in common, do you see it?

they all have the most amazingly, unusual vanities. a vanity isnt a place that most people experiment, but these images are enough to make anyone move outside of their comfort zone.

chevron… in the bathroom

whether its on the walls or the floor (i prefer the floor) i have decided i really like chevron patterns on bathroom floors. adds some very nice visual interest. lets be honest here, i love chevron pattern on ANY floor. kitchen. entry. bathroom, you name it, i like it.
