Hi all, I am Alex from Things That Sparkle and I am so honored that Laura asked me over here today to share what I am thankful for this year. My favorite part about Thanksgiving is taking a step back and really looking at how good life is, and how lucky I have been.
This year, as with every year, I feel so incredibly lucky to have an amazing family. My sisters and my parents are some of the most amazing people I have ever had the honor of knowing.
I am also thankful to be marrying my very best friend in the world in the coming year. We have been dating for over 8 years but in 2012 we are tying the knot! My fiance is the most amazing, loving, inspiring person. I feel so lucky to have him in my life forever! And I have to mention our loving little doggy. Very thankful for him.

Lastly, I am thankful that in the past year I have taken the steps to follow my career dreams. I made the move from advertising to interior design (being a student in between those two), and I couldn’t be happier about it! I feel so lucky to wake up everyday and genuinely love what I do!
