One more post about art and then I promise I’ll take a break… Yesterday I talked about some special pieces of art that were in my family. This weekend we added some more.
These little carter kustera knock offs were our (me and my sisters) Hanukkah present to my mom. Our cousin is an incredible artist and we recruited her to do these for us. We have little oxy morons written underneath our names and the sweet little silhouettes above. I wish I had taken better pictures, but I wanted to share because I think they are just too cute!
If you are interested in commissioning some of these silhouettes, let me know and I’ll give you the artists contact info, she is beyond talented (and these are a fraction of the price).
For those of you who know me, they know that I am VERY upset that I was not chosen as the sister in pink. Apparently we all sent secret texts to my cousin requesting to be pink, so the middle sister was awarded that color since it looks best in the center.
They are darling…what a fabulous gift for your Mom!!
