I have a never ending list of decorating to-dos for our new house, but I am trying to approach them one at a time. First up is the office. Now that we have a sofa and a desk in, its time to get it looking pretty. Here is my plan right now (its safe to assume that it will change).
Its an awkwardly small room, so each thing will we bring in will pack a big punch.
This room right now (literally 5 minutes ago)
And my plan for after:
table lamp ::: bamboo shades ::: Dunn Edwards Dark Lagoon paint (its a bit more green in person) ::: fish prints ::: brass knobs ::: sisal rug (this one is one of my favorites) ::: vase ::: Mary McDonald for Schumacher fabric :::
Oh she’s going to be good!!!! Love the wall colour and vase especially.
I’m so glad Victoria introduced us to you this morning! Happy to have found your blog and can’t wait to read more.

Oh I am loving your plans. I am knee deep in some home projects also (can be super stressful)…I have so many ideas I just don’t know which ones to do. I hope we can meet sometime as I am a fellow chicago blogger also ( I feel like there are so few of us around )

love it! those brass knobs are amazing!
Love where this is going…it’s going to be gorgeous!! Those knobs are one of my favorites and I love the bamboo shades!
That gold and black vase is so pretty! I can’t wait to see what you do with the room. I know it will be great.
Love your blog!!! I also have a office room in my home and for managing it use shelves and cabinets for storage because they are the best method for more storage space.
