1) If bloggers ruled the world…
1a) The menu at a restaurant would be like a Pinterest food page with lots of different, delicious options and pictures. Seriously, can you imagine? YUM.
1b) No child would ever be sick.
1c) Starlight Children’s Foundation is an incredible organization that I have the honor of working with. They provide all sort of activities not only for seriously ill children, but also for their families. They also provide entertainment within the hospital, where the world may seem the most bleak. Although there is no way to avoid children getting sick, we can at the very least, do our part to make sure the experience is as easy as possible.
2) Connecting people and offering inspiration (for just about anything). The relationships that are formed through blogging are absolutely incredible. I feel so lucky to have my blogger friends as part of my life. They provide endless support and encouragement! And offering inspiration? Well just look at all the beauty (interiors, fashion, food and more!) that is spread through the pages of a blog.
2b) A lot of people still think blogging is a personal diary of your life. Obviously, we all know that is not the case. I think spreading the word of blogging, as well as the purpose, will only help to grow our amazing community!
3) Once upon a time (3 years ago) I was stuck in a job that I wasn’t happy with, but felt I had to stick with. I started a blog as a place to collect inspiration. Fast forward a couple months, I realized that all around me, were people who had followed their dreams and were living my fantasy. Blogging and bloggers provided me with the inspiration and encouragement to take a leap of faith, and go into interior design, my dream job.
